​Something strange is happening in Westfield County. People are disappearing, freak electrical surges are causing destruction, and a woman appears at the Halloween concert and swears vengeance on the town.

When their teacher vanishes, leaving behind a mysterious key, Murphy, Chloe, and Jason are thrust into a mystical adventure. Allied with the spritely Cromalites, the kids journey into a world of strange creatures, secret languages, and alien powers to rescue the missing people and—hopefully—save their town from evil. As they learn more, Murphy, Chloe, and Jason discover that they were not chosen for their task at random—they each have an important part to play.

About the author

Simone E. Ows is a personal support worker and holds a diploma in Child and Youth Work. The inspiration for The Legends of Moss Ridge came to her in a dream so compelling that she was driven to write it down. After many years of development, it is now her debut novel.

​Born in Windsor, Ontario, Simone lives in Niagara Falls with her husband, Wally, and her cat, Milo.
